All of the learning that takes place in our science lab is hands on and standards based. Students are actively engaged in asking and answering questions about physical, earth and life science, learning how to use the tools that scientists use. They also learn how to communicate their findings and think like scientists. Work in the science
Mixing colored light with 6th grade.
lab is rigorous, challenging and fun!
Students in grades 1 through 3 go to science every other week. Students in grades 4 through 6 go to science for approximately 2 weeks out of every 6 week period.
Below is a list of some of our units of study in each grade level. We use primarily FOSS (Full Option Science Systems) and GEMS (Great Explorations
in Math and Science) curriculum to work students toward achieving standard.
